The Big Learn is a free learning platform for developers and technology professionals. Its core is an in-depth, multilingual track on corporate APIs — networking, protocols, security and architecture — supported by practical articles and a set of essential developer utilities such as Base64 encoders, JSON formatters, JWT viewers and more. The goal is a single, secure environment where you can learn and complete daily tasks efficiently while keeping sensitive data local whenever possible.
The idea came from the practical need to use multiple tools during everyday work — especially when handling sensitive data — and to truly understand the technologies behind them. That concern for security, efficiency and depth led to bringing learning content and utilities together in one integrated, safer place instead of relying on several separate platforms.
Beyond solving a practical problem, the project is also an opportunity to learn and improve front-end skills with Angular. This helped create a more dynamic and friendly interface while building valuable experience in web development.
With a commitment to continuous improvement, the code is open source. This invites other developers to contribute by adding features, improving the interface or strengthening security. The collaborative nature of the project aims to grow the toolset and a community of developers who help each other with common challenges.
The intention is to keep evolving the platform according to user needs and technology trends. Feedback and community contributions are essential to guide future development and keep The Big Learn relevant and useful for developers.
