How to create a PDF from images
Click the upload area and select one or more images from your machine. You can repeat the operation as many times as you like with the "Add more" button, mixing formats freely. Every loaded image appears as a thumbnail in a grid with its position number. When the sequence is correct, click "Create PDF" and the document is generated and downloaded automatically.
How to reorder and remove pages
Drag any thumbnail and drop it in the desired position. The number badge on each thumbnail always reflects the page number that image will occupy in the final PDF. To discard a single image, click the "X" button on its thumbnail; to start over, use "Clear all".
Supported formats and page size
JPEG and PNG images are embedded directly into the PDF, preserving their original compressed data. Other formats such as GIF, WebP and BMP are automatically converted to JPEG through a canvas before being inserted. Each page is created with the exact pixel dimensions of its image, so pages keep the original aspect ratio and images are never cropped or stretched.
Privacy
The PDF is assembled locally with the pdf-lib library running in your browser. No image is uploaded to any server, which makes the tool safe for personal documents, identity scans and confidential material.
What is a PDF
PDF (Portable Document Format) is a page-oriented format that stores text, vector graphics and images together with the instructions needed to render them identically on any device. Because a PDF fixes layout and page order, it is the standard container for delivering documents that must look the same everywhere.
When images are turned into a PDF, each picture is stored as an image object referenced by a page content stream that positions it in PDF user space. A PDF point is 1/72 inch, so an image measuring 1240 by 1754 pixels becomes a page of roughly A4 proportions when its pixel dimensions are used directly as points.
